The concentration in Strategic Public and Corporate Communication provides students with a strong foundation for advancement in the professional world or to pursue graduate study in communication and related fields. Students will learn both the theory and the practice of ethical, strategic, and persuasive communication to internal (e.g., employees) and external (e.g., customers, suppliers, the general public, and the community) audiences. Students can obtain a degree in four years (less with transfer credits). Those entering with an associate's degree or equivalent can earn their degree in about two years. Prospective students with prior college credit and/or other credit-bearing experience can submit transcripts for an evaluation and degree plan. A minimum of 120 credits is required for graduation. Courses are offered in an accelerated, 8-week format.
