Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management
UMUC's Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management's focus is on the knowledge and skills students need to be effective environmental managers. This prepares students to plan, implement, and control all facets of environmental management. The curriculum provides an interdisciplinary approach to environmental management that includes management of air, land, and water; pollution control; policies; regulations; and environmental health and safety. Students are prepared for careers in the fields of occupational health, public safety, pollution remediation, hazard control, risk assessment, risk management, and environmental health regulationand policy.

You will study an interdisciplinary curriculum based in liberal arts and science, agricultural sciences, forestry, along with learning about the social, ecological, and political components of resource management as a Natural Resources major. B.S. General Agriculture

Students have the opportunity to customize their curriculum by focusing on a minor or developing an emphasis area in fields like animal sciences, agricultural business management and crop and soil science with a general agriculture degree.This program has proved successful for the entering student as well as the experienced farmer or rancher.
