The Associate of Arts in General Studies offered at Grantham University engages the students in a comprehensive and well-rounded general education. The primary goal of the program is for the students to achieve effective writing skills, as more than half of the required courses involve writing for content and communication. The course is different from the general studies curriculum in that core courses are delved into more profoundly.

This program helps equip students to go on their studies and earn a bachelor's degree at a college or university. After learning various substantial subjects, General Studies students will gain a better thought of what bachelor major they will pursue. If they want to start a career soon after getting an associate degree, they'll have proficient oral and written communication skills, which makes them more advantageous over others.

In Grantham University's associate degree in General Studies, such subjects as algebra, computer fundamentals, computer applications, the basics of electronics engineering technology, physical and life sciences, philosophy, psychology, world history, sociology, business administration, and criminal justice are included in order that the students will become well-rounded in their studies.
