The Advanced Placement Track Radiography program at Pima Medical Institute is accredited and is delivered via online classes using an Internet-based interactive learning management system. You will be presented with information in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, methods of patient care, radiographic techniques and communication, as a student of the program. Graduates of the Pima Medical Institute Advanced Placement Track Radiography program are eligible to apply to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification exam and receive an Associate of Occupational Science degree. The program is created for students who possess prior radiography education. Students meeting the admission criteria are granted 44.5 transfer credits for clinical experience (35.5 credits) and previous academic course work (9.0 credits).
