The Associate of Science Degree in Health Care Administration at Iowa Central has been developed to provide students entering and those currently in field advancement opportunities within the health science and related fields. Graduates will be able to cover a variety of tasks with this program since the coursework is diverse depending upon the size of the facility. Courses will cover materials including: Health Care, Aging Population, and Business courses such as Management, Accounting, and Economics. Graduates of the program will establish careers as managers in the health profession which include Clinics, Health Care Organizations, Consulting Firms, Hospitals, and Nursing homes. Individuals will plan, supervise, and direct the delivery of healthcare.  This program consists of sixty-six (66) semester hours (two year program).
