Beginners can discover the "artist within themselves" and forge their own artistic path while established artists can develop portfolios as they bring their work to a higher level. Our graduates have gone on to distinguished careers in photography, painting, sculpture, and many other forms of art. You work closely with a faculty mentor who gives you feedback, guidance and helps you discover a whole academic context for the work that most interests you, online. Learners of all abilities undertake studies in photography, sculpture, multimedia, painting, drawing, collage,  crafts, art history, theater arts, and criticism. The study of art provides good preparation for many careers combined with other areas. Our undergraduate learners who graduate with a concentration in art often go on to a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Art degree.
