The Early Childhood Development program includes both theoretical and practical applications as you explore the cultural and social influences of the family and the community in the holistic development of young children. The program focuses on cross-disciplinary coursework in early childhood, education and human development. Students with degrees in early childhood development enter varying fields related to early childhood, including developing childcare programs, teaching at the pre-school or elementary level, working in social services or health care facilities, serving as child advocates, or becoming school administrators or counselors. |
