Regent's English degree program is a comprehensive study of words and how they work in language, literature, and writing. Students consider a variety of expressions of the human imagination as these are understood in the contexts of history, gender, culture, interdisciplinary study and ethnicity. Students have the opportunity to better understand and articulate their own Christian worldview and to explore diverse human experiences through a range of study in the English language and literature. A degree in English prepares students for a variety of careers by cultivating their skills in writing, communication, and critical thinking.
