The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies at the Hodges University gives students the opportunity to earn a degree through incorporating their past college studies with courses that will equip them for today’s ever-changing workplace. It was created so that students participate in a weekly in depth session to learn, access, and examine the progress done toward achieving the program objectives.

The Interdisciplinary Studies degree program supports the Hodges University’s vision of being an open, creative, and community conscious institution of higher learning. Students will be ready to adapt to change, meet social responsibilities, understand the global perspective, comply with standards of excellence and appreciate life-long learning. They're able to measurably display integrative excellence in the core competencies of research, critical thinking, effective communication, leadership, and also initiative.

The interdisciplinary studies degree program consists of 9 classes that will be taught in a wheel structure. Due to the integrative approach to teaching, a student may go into the wheel at any given semester. Once a student is enrolled, he or she circuits the wheel for 1 year. Each spoke of the wheel signifies a specific class in which the content and skills of each class interacts with and develops upon the content and skills of other classes. These classes include:

- A Society of Laws
- Leadership Theories and Practice
- Issues in Diversity
- Contemporary Global Issues
- Cognitive Processes
- Applied Research Methodologies
- Professional Communication Concepts
- Strategic Planning and Evaluation

In addition, the Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies degree program emphasizes on knowledge and skills crucial in modern work environment.
