The nature and purpose of the Curriculum and Teaching specialization is to provide Teacher Learners the knowledge, skill sets, and professional competencies that will enhance their instructional practice and expand their professional awareness.This specialization offers Learners a comprehensive program of study aimed to improve their classroom performance and practice. Northcentral University's Master of Education (M.Ed) program provides learners with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for doctoral level study. The Master of Education also is suited to learners who want to combine a strong understanding of current theory and practice in education and/or organizational leadership with their personal needs and career focus. Learners have the opportunity to examine, explore, and evaluate contemporary teaching and instructional practices. Effective teaching methods are aligned to effective curricula design and development.
