MS in Communication The field of communications is as extensive and diverse as the degrees offered within it. People having master's degrees in the field of communications may commonly enter into careers in public relations, sales, advertising, marketing, media specialists, and many more. If you are planning to pursue a career as a technical writer, medical/pharmaceutical writer, journalist and Public Relations professional, a degree in MS in Communication will help you gear up after the program completion. This course is an in-depth communication management and leadership program that delivers a strong foundation of principles that can effectively be used on various fields. It's made for professionals from a wide range of undergraduate majors, job functions and experience levels. The MS in Communication has 3 specializations: - Technical Communication - is for students seeking employment as technical writers, computer documentation specialists, and training specialists. - Science Communication - has much to offer those who aspire to medical, science, and pharmaceutical writing. - Public Communication - leads to careers in journalism and public relations. This program also gives a broad-based foundation in theoretical approaches to communication. This theoretical basis was created to ensure that, as the field evolves, students will remain to have an intellectual structure for analyzing and developing new technology and changing media. The MS in Communication is a 2-year recognized postgraduate program that provides students with an opportunity as well as the means to exhibit the acquisition, mastery and integration of skills and knowledge in the subject. It's specialized in leadership and communication skills that go past traditional management curricula to prepare students in the practical, real world applications needed to fulfill the demands of the modern world. The curriculum offers core courses basic to the discipline, and also electives that enable students to build their very own curriculum according to their interest and professional need and goal with courses made to cover a variety of communication management skills. Students are encouraged to choose a project that will fit their career and professional goals. The project must be an authentic work by the student done with academic rigor.
