Study how to enhance student learning; improve the school environment for students, teachers, and the community;  and follow nationally recognized standards developed by the NCATE/Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC) and the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC). Focus on the diversity, special needs,  and cultural concerns that face site-based administrators. In addition, examine best practices for educational leadership in the areas of legal issues in education, school finance and operations, supervision and staff development and curriculum development for school improvement.
