BS in Respiratory Care

The Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care offers the therapist an opportunity for advancement in employment and enables the motivated professional to serve the community at a higher level of healthcare. This program offers an opportunity for Respiratory Therapists to advance their education by acquiring a Bachelors degree and skills that are relevant to their current vocation.In addition to the general Standards for Undergraduate Admission, all Respiratory Care program applicants must meet the full set of admission requirements from one of the following categories: 1) Degree-bearing Candidates a) Possess an Associate degree in an allied health field from an accredited, GCU-approved college, university, or program and be (or have previously been) licensed, certified, or registered in an allied health field. b) Provide proof of NBRC credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). c) Submit official transcripts bearing evidence of a cumulative GPA of 2.50. Associate of Applied Science in Medical Administration

The Medical Administration degree prepares you for multiple challenges you will encounter in the office including coding, understanding medical terminology, recognizing medical law and ethics, learning proper medical insurance and billing procedures and success strategies in the office. Students will also have the opportunity to take specialty courses including Medical Transcription, Medical Office Procedures, Anatomy and Physiology, and computer courses. You will study core courses to develop communication, critical thinking and decision making skills in the Medical Administration program.  You can learn how to successfully manage a medical office with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Administration from Rasmussen College.
