It includes 2 interactive capstone courses: MDR Capstone I - to devise a strategic plan to analyze and categorize the material elements in dispute; MDR Capstone II - apply the decision-matrix and analysis strategy from Capstone I to a simulated dispute. The program is designed to help graduates prepare to pursue such careers as Conflict Management Specialists, Arbitrators, Integration Managers, Labor Relations Managers, Legal Consultants and many others. Enrolled students will be required to earn Advanced Practitioner of Mediation (APM) certification through IADR Global before enrolling in the Capstone I course. Those who have previously earned APM certification will receive 12 credits towards the completion of this career-focused program. APM certification courses can also be taken on the Colorado Tech Online Virtual Campus for convenience.
